Multi-engine Piston Class Rating Instructor (MEP CRI)

 

Need 30 PIC in class and 500 hrs total before starting course

Course is 5 hrs, content as per the MEP which is taught in 6hrs.

25 hrs of teaching and learning instruction

10 hrs of technical training

 

Valid for 3 years

 

Revalidation: Within 12 months preceding the expiry:

​

            1. 10 hrs flight instruction (if SEP and MEP, then at least 5 hrs on each)

            2. Receive refresher trg at an ATO

            3. Pass the assessment of competence in accordance with FCL.935 (this must happen every alternate renewal)
