ACS Flight Training has been training pilots since 2007 and is the leading Commercial Flight Training Organisation in Scotland. Centrally located in the heart of the country with easy access to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, it is the perfect place to start commercial flight training. Graduates go on to start their flying careers with airlines here in the UK and around the World.

Perth Airport is our UK base for flight training. The CAA licensed airport is well equipped with three operational and serviced runways. This includes a main runway with PAPI lights, pilot controlled lighting for night training and a radio navigation beacon (VOR) for practice instrument approaches. The airport is operated by our company so this enables us to offer discounted landing fees for ACS students and members. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness Airports are all within 20-25 minutes flight time. These airports are equipped with both radar and precision approach aids which are used during the instrument rating course.

Our large training fleet consists of several Cessna C152, C172, Piper PA28, PA28R Arrow and state of the art Diamond DA42 Twinstar aircraft aswell as two flight simulators.

Our state of the art DA42 Twinstar aircraft are equipped with the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit and is used for our ME/IR Training. Our Alsim AL42 is a CAA approved simulator; it is used primarily for our Instrument Rating courses and by airline flight crew for recurrent training. The simulator is a replica of the DA42 Twinstar and enables our students to conduct training in a similar environment to that of modern day airliners.
